Branding material and style guidelines
Consistent and professional branding is an essential part of communicating the vision and identity of the South African Master in Ocean Sciences (SAMOS) project. The SAMOS brand reflects our commitment to excellence in higher education, sustainable development, and collaborative international partnerships between South African and European institutions. In order to maintain a unified visual identity across all platforms and partner institutions, we have developed a standard set of branding guidelines and policies. These include the correct usage of the SAMOS logo, official colour palettes and templates for promotional materials.
On this page, you will find examples of key branding elements, such as the SAMOS logo and sample applications of the brand identity. These are displayed for illustrative purposes only. Adhering to these guidelines helps to strengthen the programme’s visibility and credibility and ensures that all stakeholders present a coherent and professional image to both local and international audiences.
Please note: The European Union logo must be included in accordance with the legal and visibility requirements of EU-funded projects. It is a legal obligation to display the EU emblem when promoting or communicating about activities co-funded by the European Union. The logo must be used as outlined in the official branding and visibility policy.
